I hope all of you had a great holiday!
My family has been reading my blogs and gave me a package of turkey calls because they have seen me comment that I want to learn how to call in a big Tom. After I opened the gift, it just so happened that there were about 20 turkeys on the back lawn. I stepped out onto the back porch and started to use the scrape. The minute that those turkeys heard the call, they took off running into the woods and up the mountain. Clearly, my skills leave a lot to be desired and I have a lot to learn.
As I practice, what advice would you give me?
