Our signature event is our Introductory Skills Weekend, which is a three-day workshop held each fall. This past September, 107 women participated in more than 35 workshops to learn more about topics like hunting, fishing, outdoor recreation and campfire cuisine.

Becoming an Outdoors-Woman in Maine is looking for people (men or women) from all across the State of Maine, who are passionate about the outdoors, interested in promoting the outdoor actives Maine has to offer and getting more women interested and comfortable being a part of it all.

Meetings are held bi-monthly on the first Wednesday of the month in Augusta.
